Big fire at Hoa Sen Nghe An factory, estimated damage of billions of dong

(Baonghean.vn) - A major fire just broke out at Hoa Sen Nghe An Company Limited, located in Dong Hoi Industrial Park, Quynh Lap Commune, Hoang Mai Town, with estimated damage of billions of dong.

At around 2:40 a.m. on October 15, security guards and workers at Hoa Sen Company Limited discovered smoke and flames coming from the paint spraying system. The fire flared up and then there was a loud explosion in the drying chamber system.

When the fire was detected, the company issued an alarm to the entire factory and called the Fire Command Center 114. The company mobilized on-site firefighters to put out the fire, but the flames grew high, threatening the safety of the entire factory.

Upon receiving the news, Fire Police Department No. 4 dispatched 1 command vehicle, 2 fire trucks, 1 fire pump and 21 officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with the local fire fighting force to control the fire and prevent it from spreading.

By 3:06 a.m. on October 15, the fire was basically under control and extinguished. To prevent the fire from spreading, the fire department continued to spray water to cool the entire system until 3:35 a.m. the same day.

The fire did not cause any human damage. The factory's assets are being counted but are estimated to be worth billions of dong.

At this point, the factory is currently dealing with the aftermath of the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities.
