Huge fire at Chinese airport kills two
On April 29, a large fire broke out in the basement of Hongqiao Airport Terminal in Shanghai, China.
The fire killed two people and injured five others. By 9am on April 29 (local time), firefighters had extinguished the fire and taken the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to the Shanghai Fire Department, the fire broke out from insulating materials used for a construction project at the station, then spread to an area of up to 100 square meters.
However, the fire did not affect operations at the airport.
Chinese authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire./.
