According to regulations, each fan is allowed to buy 2 tickets/match. After successfully booking tickets, VFF will send them directly via Vietnam Post to the registered address of the buyer, starting from November 4.
VFF only sells about 7,000 tickets per match to fans (the rest are for partners and invitations), earning an average of 5-6 billion VND. This money is used for stadium rental, huge medical expenses, transportation, security, etc.
It is known that AFC holds all the commercial rights of the matches such as: selling billboards, television copyrights... Therefore, VFF is forced to balance the costs of organizing the matches, and have more revenue to invest in football activities.
Mr. Le Hoai Anh - General Secretary of VFF shared: "The permission to welcome spectators to the stadium to cheer for two matches in November 2021 is good news for domestic football fans as well as the Vietnamese team, because this is the home field advantage that every team needs.
To have the best preparation, VFF has coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications, the National Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to post QR Codes at 56 entrances/exits of My Dinh Stadium. This will help spectators declare information more conveniently. Hopefully, with the support from the spectators, the Vietnam team will compete and achieve good results."
