2-year-old sister leads 1-year-old twins to 'escape' from home

Dad went to work without locking the door, the three Chinese sisters went down the stairs, opened the door and went out into the street.

Images of three children in Zhejiang province, China, walking naked on the street are being shared across Chinese social networks.

According to Shanghaiist, the 2-year-old girl, the eldest, took her two 1-year-old twins and "escaped" from the house for more than an hour. The children went down the stairs from the 6th floor, opened the door and went out into the street at around 7am.

People quickly called the police when they saw no adults around the children. Many were even willing to take the three children home. However, a policeman surnamed Chen took the three children back to his workplace.

Immediately, the police divided into 3 groups, one group tried to contact the baby's parents, one group played with the children, and the remaining group went out to buy milk and clothes for the baby.

At around 8am, the mother of the three children woke up and did not see her children, so she rushed to the police station. She said she was in a deep sleep and did not know that her children had left the house. While her husband was in a hurry to go to work and forgot to lock the door, the three children went down the stairs and went outside.

After completing the verification procedure, the children were taken home by relatives. This is a warning lesson for parents about taking care of their children, being careful when closing the door so that the children do not go down the stairs, go out or be kidnapped by someone in the house.
