The Provincial People's Committee Office's General Party Cell deploys tasks for February

(Baognghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 3, the General Party Cell, the Provincial People's Committee Office Party Committee held a regular meeting for February 2017.

Attending were comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the General Party Cell.

Carrying out regular activities, in February 2017, the General Party Cell under the Provincial People's Committee Office Party Committee held a meeting on the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The report and comments on the implementation of tasks in January by the Party cell secretary showed that the Provincial People's Committee Office has advised and issued documents directing departments and branches to prepare for people to celebrate Tet happily and safely.

In January 2017, the province paid regular subsidies to meritorious people and social protection beneficiaries, and provided rice support to the poor and disadvantaged areas in a timely and targeted manner. In addition, gifts were given to the elderly and social protection beneficiaries; and a call for socialization of Tet for the poor was made with 47,012 billion VND.

In January, the whole province planted 59/89 thousand hectares of rice; 3/14 hectares of peanuts, 4505/10 thousand hectares of vegetables. An outbreak of flu was detected in Thuan Son, Do Luong, destroying more than 4 thousand chickens. Unusual deaths of clams were detected in Quynh Phuong due to parasites and the breeding area was isolated and sanitized.

During Tet, the whole province was provided with stable electricity, water and telecommunication services; information and propaganda activities were carried out well. Market prices of goods were relatively stable. On the 4th day of Tet, shopping centers and markets returned to normal operations.

The Transport sector has taken many measures to ensure safety and prevent congestion. It has paid attention to transporting essential goods to serve people in remote areas. It has controlled the trading and transportation of firecrackers. Localities have organized safe and healthy New Year celebrations. However, there are still some problems such as setting off firecrackers and traffic accidents.

At the meeting, the General Party Cell also proposed a number of tasks to focus on in February and the following period: urging all levels and sectors to focus on work immediately after the Tet holiday ends. Directing and guiding people to sow crops according to the crop schedule; preventing diseases in livestock and poultry.

Prepare well for the Investment Promotion Conference, the Meeting with Nghe An Compatriots in Hanoi; manage well the New Year festival. Ensure the progress of project works in the province, especially speed up the progress of key projects. Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong outlined the contents of the Prime Minister's Directive on rectifying activities after the Dinh Dau Lunar New Year holiday.In particular, he emphasized the viewpoint of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on the need to seriously implement administrative discipline and not participate in temple festivals during working hours."

For the advisory work for the provincial leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, it is also necessary to have a scientific, reasonable and highly effective arrangement. Any departments that have not done their tasks or have not performed their tasks well must be specifically pointed out for timely correction. Regularly review the volume and tasks every quarter and every month to advise the provincial leaders to urge and monitor agencies, units and localities to implement on schedule and according to plan.
