Chinese twin sisters famous for graduating from Harvard together

The twin sisters who graduated with master's degrees from Harvard University are famous throughout China for being both beautiful and intelligent.

Chinese netizens continuously shared images of Su Yumeng and Su Yutong wearing graduation gowns standing on the Harvard campus in the US at the end of May.according toSCMP.

Wu Meng and Wu Tong were born and raised in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province. While attending Nanjing Foreign Language High School, they were members of the bodybuilding team, winning national bodybuilding competitions. They graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai, one of China’s most prestigious schools, last year and then went on to earn master’s degrees in education from Harvard.

On social media, Vu Mong and Vu Dong are famous for being both beautiful and talented. Netizens are impressed by the two sisters’ achievements in sports and studies. Vu Dong has nearly 291,000 followers on Weibo, while Vu Mong has more than 371,000.

"Both beautiful and talented, truly admirable!", one netizen wrote.

According to a 2015 estimate by Unesco, China has nearly 800,000 students studying abroad, nearly half of them in the United States. Harvard University says more than 20% of its students are foreign.
