Details of 27 festivals in Nghe An province in 2024

Accordingly, there will be 27 festivals held in the province, including 21 festivals taking place in Spring (from January to March of the lunar calendar), the rest taking place at other times of the year (from April to October of the lunar calendar).

Previously, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 164/UBND-VX dated January 9, 2024 on strengthening the management and organization of festivals in 2024, thereby requesting provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns; People's Committees of communes, wards, and towns with festival activities to strictly implement the Government's regulations on festival management and organization; ensure that festival activities are organized solemnly, in accordance with traditional rituals, practically, safely, economically, in accordance with civilized lifestyle, preserving and promoting the cultural traditions of the nation and good customs and practices of the locality.

1. Pan Pang - Nang Ny Festival

- Time: February 14 - 15, 2024 (ie January 5 - 6 of the Lunar calendar)

- Location: Front yard of Pan Pang - Nang Ny cave, Muong Ham village, Chau Cuong commune, Quy Hop district.

2. King Mai Temple Festival

- Time: February 22 - 24, 2024 (ie January 13 - 15 of the lunar calendar)

- Location: King Mai's tomb, King Mai's temple - Nam Dan town; King Mai's mother's tomb - Nam Thai commune and related relics of Nam Dan district.

3. Temple Festival
