According to general regulations, candidates applying for admission to military universities and colleges must pass a preliminary selection and meet the standards set by the Ministry of National Defense (non-military youth must pass a preliminary selection at the Military Admissions Board at the district, town, or provincial level; active military personnel must pass a preliminary selection at the Military Admissions Board at the regimental level and equivalent).
Candidates can only register one first choice (highest choice) for a military school right from the time of making the preliminary application (if the school has many training majors, candidates can only register for one major). For the remaining wishes, candidates can register for non-military schools or civilian systems of military schools. Registration is carried out according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
