Individualism corrupts people.

Referring to the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho's passing, the General Secretary said that Uncle Ho left behind a historic will. On February 3, 1969, Uncle Ho wrote "Promote revolutionary morality, wipe out individualism", which is still immortal today.

According to the General Secretary, Uncle Ho always thoroughly understood the idea of improving revolutionary ethics. He spoke many times about revolutionary ethics.

“Uncle Ho was so far-sighted. The first thing he said about the Party was also about morality. As a servant of the people throughout his entire career, throughout his life, Uncle Ho talked about morality. More importantly, he himself set a shining example of revolutionary morality,” the General Secretary said, which was worth thinking about. This stemmed from Uncle Ho’s very profound and deep thoughts.

Recalling the history of 1927 when Uncle Ho wrote The Revolutionary Path, the General Secretary emphasized: “Uncle Ho said that to make a revolution, first of all, there must be a revolutionary Party to organize and mobilize the people internally and to connect with the proletariat everywhere externally. The Party is the decisive factor. Talking about the Party is first of all talking about morality.”

Referring to the content of Uncle Ho's will that first of all must be solidarity, the General Secretary said: "What Uncle Ho said has a very profound meaning. He also did not use the words 'anti-individualism' but used 'wipe out individualism', saying it so strongly."

The General Secretary emphasized that on these occasions, all Party members and cadres must once again be imbued with Uncle Ho's thoughts. Because in reality, not everyone has fully imbued them.

“Just saying it out loud, shouting slogans, but when it comes to personal matters, people get angry. They want to be better than others in everything, and they can’t stand a little loss. ‘If you lose a piece of food, you put your liver on your head’ - our ancestors said,” the General Secretary noted.

He believes that individualism corrupts people, as Uncle Ho said: "Pulling people downhill without brakes", very dangerous.

Commenting that the country's 30 years of renovation have achieved the success it has today is also due to Uncle Ho's ideology, the General Secretary noted that those who come to the Presidential Palace relic site, including domestic and international visitors, old and young, must try to convey Uncle Ho's ideology to each person.

“Come here not to travel but to visit Uncle Ho, to examine yourself, to educate, to train, to wash away all individualism”, the General Secretary emphasized and noted, come here to study, study to be a human being, not to study to get promoted, to have power to become a cadre. Each person coming here must absorb that to grow up on their own.
