Waiting for appeal trial for rape, rape of children again
During the appeal period, awaiting the appeal trial, Khanh continued to commit child rape in the area.
On the afternoon of September 2, Long Ho District Police (Vinh Long Province) urgently arrested Pham Tuan Khanh (15 years old, residing in Tan Thanh Hamlet, Tan Hanh Commune) to investigate the act of "Raping a person under 16 years old".

According to the investigation agency, at noon of the same day, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh (54 years old), discovered that his nephew NHTV (8 years old, living in the same commune) ran to his house without clothes on, saying that Khanh had raped him.
Mr. Minh and his neighbors got clothes for the girl and discovered that the victim's private area was bleeding profusely so they took her to the hospital for emergency treatment. The police immediately arrested Pham Tuan Khanh to assist in the investigation.
Through verification, in 2018, Khanh was tried at first instance by the Long Ho District People's Court and sentenced to 18 months in prison for the same crime. However, the subject appealed and while waiting for the appeal trial, he continued to commit crimes.
