Mr. Nhuan and Ms. To were both given disciplinary warnings for fighting at the headquarters of the Political Training Center over a phone.

This morning, a leader of the Inspection Committee of Bao Loc City Party Committee (Lam Dong) said that this agency has issued Party disciplinary warnings to Mr. Le Xuan Nhuan (Director of the City's Political Training Center) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc To (Accountant of Le Van Tam Primary School) for fighting at work.

According to the leader of the Inspection Committee of Bao Loc City, there has not yet been a conclusion on the inspection of violations against Mr. Le Van Khoa (Deputy Director of the Political Training Center).

"Mr. Khoa is a party committee member and an official under the management of the City Party Committee's Executive Committee, so this agency will consider handling the case," the information said.

Previously, in mid-June 2017, at the Bao Loc City Political Training Center, a fight occurred between Mr. Le Xuan Nhuan and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc To.

The incident involved many party members, caused bad public opinion, and showed signs of violations, so Bao Loc City Party Committee directed the Inspection Committee to set up an inspection team.

As VietNamNet reported, on the afternoon of June 16, in the office of Mr. Le Xuan Nhuan, a scuffle broke out between him and Ms. To. When he heard Ms. To cry for help, Mr. Le Van Khoa rushed in to stop her but was beaten by Mr. Nhuan.

Regarding the origin of the incident, according to Mrs. To, about 10 days before the fight, her and her husband's phone numbers continuously received text messages from unknown numbers. The messages were vulgar, insulting, and slanderous. Based on the content, time, and way of sending the messages, she suspected Mr. Nhuan was the author.

Mrs. To handed over the phone to the police.

On the afternoon of June 16, Ms. To received a similar message, so she immediately went to the Political Training Center where Mr. Nhuan worked to find out. There, Ms. To stood outside the door answering the messages and saw Mr. Nhuan dialing his phone. Suspecting that Mr. Nhuan was the one “terrorizing” her, Ms. To rushed into Mr. Nhuan’s room and snatched his phone as evidence.

During the scuffle, Mr. Khoa appeared to intervene but was beaten and handcuffed by Mr. Nhuan. In pain, Mr. Khoa bit Mr. Nhuan's hand to escape.

The noisy incident ended when the police showed up and made a report. At this time, Ms. To also took Mr. Nhuan’s phone and handed it over to the police as evidence.

Mr. Khoa said that he only participated in the role of preventing two people from fighting, not participating in the fight.

According to Ms. To, the messages from the unknown number said that she had an improper relationship with Mr. Khoa, and that Mr. Khoa would not be promoted to the position of Director of the Political Training Center.
