Final list of 24 players going to Thailand: Trong Hoang and Van Hau are still on the list

In the list of players going to Thailand, the head coach of the Vietnam national team decided to keep Nguyen Trong Hoang in the list of the Vietnamese team to play Thailand as the midfielder from Nghe An is showing miraculous recovery from injury. The three people eliminated are center back Lam Anh Quang, defender Do Thanh Thinh and midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc.

It is known that Thanh Thinh and Hoang Duc will move straight down to practice with U22 Vietnam at PVF while Lam Anh Quang will return to his club.

Meanwhile, defender Doan Van Hau is still kept on the list, although on the evening of August 31, this player traveled to the Netherlands for a medical examination at his new club Heerenveen. However, on September 3, this defender will be allowed to return to Thailand to prepare for the important match of the Vietnam national team taking place on September 5.

Thus, the Vietnamese team brought 24 players to Thailand, one more than the Organizing Committee's regulations to prevent injuries.

Coach Park only finalized the list of 23 players for the match against Thailand just 1 day before the whole team left for the land of golden pagodas at 8:50 this morning (September 1) and the match between the Vietnamese team and Thailand will take place at 7:00 p.m. on September 5 at Thamasat Stadium.
