Cuban President Pledges to Preserve Fidel Castro's Legacy
Cuban President Raul Castro today pledged to protect the legacy left by Fidel Castro, in a final memorial service.

"This is the invincible Fidel, who inspired us with what he did in his life. Yes, we will overcome any obstacle, any disorder or any danger in building socialism in Cuba," Reuters quoted Raul Castro as telling a crowd attending a memorial service for former president Fidel Castro in the central square in Cuba.Santiago.
It is estimated that tens of thousands of people attended the ceremony, shouting "I am Fidel".Foreign dignitaries also attended the ceremony.
Hundreds of thousands of Cubans lined the streets and gathered in squares to say goodbye as the convoy carried the ashes.Fidel Castro's ashes passed through. This distance is 1,000 km long.
"We are here to show our support for the Cuban revolution. The death of former president Fidel does not mean we will stagnate. We will continue his legacy,"Ansel Hechavarria, a 61-year-old mechanic, said.
