President gives gifts to 4 centenarians in Quy Chau
(Baonghean) -On February 6-7-8, 2010, the working delegation including leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and the Elderly Association of Quy Chau district visited and presented gifts from the President to 4 elderly people who turned 100 years old on the occasion of the Canh Dan New Year.

The elders who received gifts from the President include: Vi Thi Chieng (in Chao village, Chau Binh commune), Le Thi Lieu (in Khum village, Chau Hoi commune) and two elders Pham Thi Ba and Vi Thi Ti (in Cang village and Chieng Ban 2 village, Chau Thang commune). In addition to the President's gift (including 5 meters of pink silk and birthday cards), the delegation also presented each elder with 200,000 VND as gifts from the province and many gifts from the district.
Meeting the elderly, the comrades in the Union kindly asked about their health, living situation, and the attention that local authorities have given them, and encouraged them to always live happily, healthily, and usefully, worthy of being tall and shady trees for their children and grandchildren to follow.
