National Assembly Chairman leaves for official friendship visit to China
At the invitation of Mr. Zhang Dejiang, member of the Politburo Standing Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China (NPC), on the morning of December 23, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hung, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, led a high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam to leave Hanoi for Beijing to pay an official friendship visit to the People's Republic of China from December 23 to 27, 2015.

Accompanying National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung were Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Huynh Ngoc Son and members of the Party Central Committee and National Assembly Standing Committee: Tran Van Hang, Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Nguyen Hanh Phuc, Chairman of the National Assembly Office; Phung Quoc Hien, Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee; and Truong Thi Mai, Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Social Affairs.
The delegation also included Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Judicial Committee Nguyen Van Hien; Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh; Member of the Party Central Committee, Senior Lieutenant General, Deputy Minister of Public Security To Lam; Member of the Party Central Committee, Lieutenant General, Deputy Minister of National Defense Le Chiem.
The delegation also included Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Nguyen Manh Tien; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam-China Friendship Parliamentarians' Group Ngo Thi Minh; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the People's Republic of China Dang Minh Khoi.
Taking place in the context of the two countries organizing many activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations, implementing the visit program, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly will have talks and meetings with senior leaders of the Chinese Party and State.
The delegation will also visit a number of historical sites associated with the traditional friendship, solidarity and close ties between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and China./.
