(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 16, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly visited and presented gifts to war invalids and heroic Vietnamese mothers in Nghe An.

Also attending were comrades: Dao Ngoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Bui Van Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited and presented gifts to People's Armed Forces Hero Doan Minh Nguyet, born in 1932, currently living in Hamlet 9, Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District.
During the resistance war against the US to save the country, Uncle Ho's soldier Doan Minh Nguyet had outstanding achievements in fighting, serving in combat, sticking to the road, sticking to the vehicle on the legendary Truong Son road. In 1970, he was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

After the war, comrade Doan Minh Nguyet worked in Military Region 4 until his retirement. Returning to civilian life, despite his injuries and being a 3/4 disabled veteran, he was always an exemplary party member, his family lived exemplary lives, and did well economically. He is currently directly worshiping two martyrs, his older brother and younger brother.

Next, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, 89 years old, currently living in Hong Son Ward, Vinh City. Mother Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh has 8 children, including 2 martyrs; currently living with the family of her daughter, Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, a retired teacher.

At the family of People's Armed Forces Hero Doan Minh Nguyet and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue kindly inquired about their health and all aspects of life; respectfully expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the families to the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland; wished Hero Doan Minh Nguyet and Mother Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh good health and continued to be a spiritual support for the children.
