Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong visited and worked in Macao and Guizhou province (China)

(Baonghean.vn) - At the invitation of the Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam and Mr. Chui Sai On - Chief of the Macao Special Administrative Region, China, from June 18-23, 2017, the working delegation of Nghe An province led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and worked in Macao and Guizhou province.

The trip is to participate in the program: "Welcoming the mayors to visit for the third time" to promote cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, culture and tourism between provinces and cities.

​Participating in the Program were delegations from 6 provinces and cities of 6 countries: Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Malaysia; and governors of Chinese provinces: Wuhan, Hangzhou, Zhuhai, Chengdu, and Yangzhou. Nghe An is the only province of Vietnam participating in this Program.

​On the morning of June 19, the delegation of Nghe An province had a courtesy visit to Mr. Chui Sai On - Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong expressed his sincere thanks to Mr. Chui Sai On for his invitation and thoughtful and respectful reception of the delegation of Nghe An province; at the same time, he introduced the image, potential, strengths and orientation for tourism, trade and investment development of Nghe An.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province expressed that there will be many opportunities for cooperation between Nghe An and the provinces participating in the program; at the same time, he emphasized that Nghe An province will coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send a delegation to promote investment in Hong Kong and Macao (China) in August 2017 and hoped that the Chief Executive of Macao Special Administrative Region will pay attention, support and facilitate the delegation's trip.

In addition, the provincial delegation attended seminars on tourism, culture, promotion and investment of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government. Here, the delegation heard an overview of the development situation in the fields of culture, society, tourism and investment of the provinces participating in the meeting program.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation also visited some famous places in Macao and Guiyang city (Guizhou province), China.
