(Baonghean.vn) - On December 8, a working delegation from Nghe An province led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee began a working visit to Thailand to learn about and survey the infrastructure of the industrial park (IP) of Hemaraj company.

Receiving and working with the leaders of Nghe An province were Mr. Somyos Anantaprayoon - Chairman of the Board of Directors, David Richard Nardone - CEO and senior leaders of Hemaraj company.

Hemaraj is an experienced and reputable enterprise in the field of investment, construction and business of industrial park infrastructure in Thailand. The company has a system of 8 industrial parks operating in Thailand with a total area of ​​7,500 hectares, attracting leading industrial production investors in the world.

Currently, Hemaraj is implementing investment procedures for 2 projects in Nghe An including: WHA Hemaraj 1 Industrial Park Project - Nghe An with a total area of ​​about 2,000 hectares in Nam Cam Industrial Park and WHA Hemaraj 2 Industrial Park Project - Nghe An with a total area of ​​about 1,000 hectares in Tho Loc Industrial Park.

Phase 1 of the WHA Hemaraj 1 Industrial Park project was implemented with a total investment of more than VND 2,000 billion on an area of ​​498 hectares, including 148 hectares of Industrial Park area, 62 hectares of High-tech Park area, and 288 hectares of Urban Area area. Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has asked for opinions from relevant ministries and branches to send to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for appraisal and submission to the Prime Minister for decision on the investment policy of the Project.

With complete, synchronous and modern infrastructure, these industrial parks will create favorable conditions to attract investment projects, especially enterprises that have invested in Hemaraj industrial parks in Thailand, expected to create about 24,750 jobs, contributing to the economic restructuring towards increasing the proportion of industrial and service production, reducing the proportion of agricultural production in Nghe An province.

In Bangkok (Thailand), Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong and the delegation visited the industrial parks of Hemaraj Company; directly visited the factories: producing soundproofing, heat-insulating panels and seats for cars; treating wastewater and industrial waste; treating clean water for businesses; especially visiting the Environmental Monitoring Center of Hemaraj Company.
