On May 23, the Nghe An province delegation led by comrade Thai Thanh Quy-Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, as Head of the delegation, had a program to introduce Nghe An tourism in the capital city of Moscow, the Russian Federation.

Attending the delegation were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, provincial departments, branches and sectors.

This is an activity within the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, attracting the participation of more than 250 delegates, including representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia; representatives of international diplomatic agencies in Moscow and tourism business corporations, airlines, major investors, media agencies of Vietnam and Russia...

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy reaffirmed the good friendship between Nghe An - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh and localities of Russia, especially with Ulyanovsk province - the homeland of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.

At the same time, the head of Nghe An provincial government also introduced the potential and strengths of the locality, reviewed a number of activities to promote cooperation and linkage in Red Journey tourism; built the Nghe An Cultural and Culinary Trade Center in Ulyanovsk province...

He emphasized that Nghe An is ready to participate in tourism development cooperation activities with provinces of the Russian Federation and always gives affection and the best conditions for Russian enterprises to come to Nghe An to cooperate, exchange, survey, and seek investment opportunities to develop tourism and other fields in the province.

The program "Introducing Vietnamese Tourism in the Russian Federation" is an opportunity for Vietnam in general and Nghe An province in particular to introduce its potentials, cooperation opportunities and attractive tourism products to the people and tourists; travel and tourism businesses of the Russian Federation, to attract more Russian tourists to Nghe An and vice versa.

Within the framework of the program, the provincial delegation had a number of activities to introduce Nghe An such as: screening tourism promotion films, introducing publications and items, exchanging information with Russian tourism businesses...

This is one of a series of activities of Nghe An province in the Russian Federation on the occasion of the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2019) and the 50th anniversary of the implementation of his Testament (1969 - 2019).

Before that, the delegation visited and laid flowers at the Uncle Ho Monument, Ho Chi Minh Square in Moscow. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy also had a working session with Incentra Moscow Company and attended the opening ceremony of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Year at the Zaryadye Park Concert Hall at the invitation of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation.
