Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province congratulates medical units on the occasion of February 27

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), on the afternoon of February 25, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province led by comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited, encouraged and congratulated doctors and nurses of Do Luong District General Hospital and Lam Son Medical Station (Bach Ngoc commune, Do Luong district).
The delegation included comrades: Nguyen Huu Le - Deputy Director of the Department of Health; Dang Dinh Quang - Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Anh Quang - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Do Luong district.
Do Luong District General Hospital is a grade 2 district hospital; has a scale of 300 beds, 354 actual beds, 17 departments, 247 officers, doctors, nurses, and medical staff (including 57 doctors).
In 2024, the Hospital examined 156,268 patients; treated 16,211 inpatients; bed occupancy rate reached 97.6%... The Hospital has implemented new techniques well; coordinated with preventive medical facilities to effectively carry out disease prevention and epidemic prevention work.

Sharing some of the current difficulties of Do Luong District General Hospital, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh suggested that the health sector, local Party committees and authorities should pay more attention to investing in the system.medical; advise, propose, and issue preferential policies commensurate with the efforts of doctors. Do Luong District General Hospital needs to continue to strive to develop strongly, becoming a trusted address for the people of the district.
Next, the delegation visited, encouraged and congratulated the staff of Lam Son Medical Station (Bach Ngoc Commune) - one of the typical medical stations of Do Luong District. Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh was delighted to see the spacious and clean facilities of the medical station. The station has attracted many patients to come for medical examination and treatment. In 2024, nearly 5,500 people came to the station for medical examination and treatment.
Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh sent her best wishes for health and happiness to the staff of Lam Son Medical Station. At the same time, she highlighted the special role of grassroots health care. Currently, the Party and the State are increasingly focusing on investing in grassroots health care. She hopes that Lam Son Medical Station will continue to promote its achievements and fulfill its assigned tasks.
Regarding the fact that Lam Son Medical Station does not have a regular doctor, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh suggested that the Nghe An Health Department and Do Luong district should continue to pay attention to attracting and increasing training to overcome this difficulty./.
