Pho Mon Pagoda gives 356 gifts to people and students in flood-hit areas
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 21, the volunteer group of Pho Mon Pagoda coordinated with Yen Tinh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Tuong Duong District to organize the program "Loving Heart" to give gifts to poor people and students in the area.
During the recent flood season, Yen Tinh commune, Tuong Duong district was flooded many times, especially Yen Tinh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, causing many difficulties in people's lives and students' studies.

On this occasion, the Pho Mon Pagoda charity group presented 356 gifts, including 100 gifts for households with special difficulties in the commune and 256 gifts for students of Yen Tinh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. Each gift included 10 kg of rice, 1 box of instant noodles, new clothes, books, candy, etc.
Total gift value over 100 million VND.
In addition, accompanying the delegation were many professional barbers in the province, who gave free haircuts to most of the school's male students.

It is known that from the beginning of 2018 until now, Pho Mon Pagoda (Vinh City) headed by Venerable Thich Quang Bao has coordinated with the Bright Buddhism Fund, Nguu Tu Pagoda, Chung Linh Pagoda (Thanh Chuong), Quang Duc Pagoda (Nghia Dan) to organize 3 charity programs in the West, giving nearly 1,000 gifts to households in difficult circumstances and poor students./.
