Thuan Hau Pagoda supports the construction of charity houses in Yen Thanh
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 3, Thuan Hau Pagoda, Bac Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh) solemnly held the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony, Buddhist calendar 2561 - Gregorian calendar 2017.
Attending the ceremony were Venerable Thich Tue Minh - representative of the Buddhist Executive Committee of Nghe An province, Venerable monks and nuns from pagodas in Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu districts, representatives of local government leaders and a large number of people and Buddhists.
Here, there are traditional rituals of Buddha's birthday offerings, bathing of Buddha, and offering of incense and flowers to pray for national peace, world peace, and happiness for all beings.

On this occasion, Thuan Hau Pagoda donated 40 million VND to 2 families in Bac Thanh commune to build solidarity houses and charity houses; presented gifts to 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers Hoang Thi Nhan and Nguyen Thi Huu, and presented 5 gifts to poor households, each worth 500,000 VND./.
