* 1,500 tons of fish fillets supplied to the market at the end of the year
The fish filleting profession was introduced to Dien Ngoc in 2009, meeting the demand for products for fishermen and diversifying the products of the craft village, bringing high income to the people here. Every year from October this year to March next year, fishermen catch a lot of salmon. Large fish are consumed in the market and exported, while small fish are processed into fish fillets by purchasing facilities. After being purchased, the fish are scaled, cleaned, and the meat is removed, the remaining bones are imported to fishmeal processing factories.
At Nguyen Van Hung's facility, more than 100 workers are focusing on putting fish into storage, cutting fish to deliver to a customer in Da Nang. Hung said: On peak days, the facility can process up to 3 tons of fish. Salmon is purchased from many coastal areas in and outside the province at a price of about 13,000 - 15,000 VND/kg, after being cut into meat, it is sold at 43,000 VND/kg. Fish fillets are transferred to the freezer and customers come to pick them up to process into delicious seasoned fish.

Clean chicken in Duc Son - Anh Son |
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Anh Son district, said: To meet the growing demand for food consumption, livestock farming households have now changed their farming practices from small-scale, free-range farming to semi-free-range farming, including 15-20 chicken farming models with a scale of 1,000 chickens or more.
During the 2017 Lunar New Year alone, the market will be able to supply about 5,000 to 7,000 high-quality chickens. To improve the quality of chickens to meet consumer demand, the district also directed and guided farms and households to strengthen the implementation of biosafety farming processes.
