Preparing contents for the 15th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 26, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a conference to evaluate the results of activities in October 2015 and assign tasks to prepare for the 15th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVI, 2011 - 2016.

Attending the meeting were comrades Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee; Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and a number of related sectors.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference.

In October, the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council monitored and surveyed the implementation of Resolution No. 125/NQ-HDND, dated July 16, 2014 of the Provincial People's Council on a number of investment policies for agricultural and rural development in the province; environmental management, protection and treatment; organization and operation of notary organizations in the province... Urged all levels and sectors to resolve recommendations of the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council as well as to resolve recommendations of voters.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee suggested that it is necessary to proactively develop quality reports and submissions.

Also in the month, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council also organized 2 conferences to exchange operational experiences of the Standing Committees of the District People's Councils in clusters. Conducted appraisals and gave opinions on issues arising between the 2 sessions submitted by the Provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the District People's Councils such as the Quynh Vinh Solid Waste Treatment Complex project, Hoang Mai town; upgrading the Mo River dike; resettlement area No. 2 project in Dong Hoi Industrial Park; upgrading Lach Quen fishing port...

The representative of the Provincial People's Court proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council unify the time to finalize data in the year for reports submitted at the meeting to ensure consistency among sectors.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee - Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen gave his opinion on the plan to meet voters to ensure quality.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized: In November, in parallel with the planned professional work, the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees will focus on preparing for the 15th session of the Provincial People's Council, scheduled to take place from December 8 to 10. This is the year-end session with many very important contents, so it needs to be carefully prepared, from urging the Provincial People's Committee and branches to prepare quality reports and submissions and ensure timeliness; the work of examining reports and draft resolutions submitted at the session also needs to be arranged and assigned scientifically; proactively prepare and select questions at the session.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son also requested that agencies pay attention to coordinating and implementing well the plan for meeting voters of the Provincial People's Council delegates before and after the session. Focus on reviewing and urging the implementation of recommendations after supervision and survey of the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council; Resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council and recommendations of voters... Develop guidelines for district and commune levels to summarize the term of the People's Council for the 2011-2016 term; organize year-end reviews and summaries of the Standing Committee and Committees. Request the Provincial People's Committee to review and urge branches to prepare timely and quality reports, submissions and draft Resolutions before submitting them to the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council for review according to the law.
