(Baonghean.vn) - Journalists in general, and specialized reporters in particular, all have different strengths and weaknesses in the process of working and doing journalism. Journalists, and sports reporters in particular, are no exception to that common path with advantages and difficulties that are different for everyone, as has been the reality for a long time that many people have known and experienced.

Famous football commentator Quang Huy had the first advantage when entering the profession because when he was young, he used to practice football at the famous The Cong youth team, so for him, everything became simple and natural when observing a situation, making comments that are suitable for the professional nature of top football matches. But most of all, he loves football and the commentary profession, so he constantly cultivates, accumulates knowledge, and draws timely experience to improve his work every day.

Having the opportunity to work with him on a live football commentary on television, the author of this article was surprised by his meticulous preparation of match materials. Then, when on the field, he always had the right information to “fill in the gaps”, not letting the commentary atmosphere sink, reducing the audience’s attraction. Or on the field, there were situations that could cause reactions from the majority of the audience, while the commentator had to be objective, he consistently said “the referee thinks” to avoid subjective, biased comments that are always inappropriate…

Commentator Quang Tung has his own advantage as the son of the famous player Ngo Xuan Quynh, famous for The Cong and Vietnamese football, with a wealth of valuable information about football that is not easily obtained by anyone when "passing on the profession". And like his colleague and close friend Quang Huy, both are always serious and careful with their profession, never stopping or being satisfied. They are always examples of the process of hard work, dedication, and living and dying for their profession. Both have a solid growth process, have the opportunity to do jobs that are considered more favorable, but in the end they still stick with the commentary booth, with the love and anticipation of the public, football viewers near and far...

There are many famous sports journalists and reporters who are no less famous than sports stars as they are always the authors of attractive and engaging articles and images on newspapers and sports programs that are familiar to fans. Their outstanding common points are their dedication and loyalty to the profession, constantly accumulating and learning to continuously improve, knowing how to promote inherent strengths, overcoming and limiting weaknesses to gradually rise up to meet the increasingly high demands of readers near and far. They can be people with "sports qualities", have a degree in sports and journalism, good at foreign languages, technology... which is extremely ideal. But we cannot underestimate the passion, dedication, and self-sacrifice for the profession as vivid reality has shown.

Equally important is the viewpoint and approach of the press agencies on sports so that sports journalists and reporters have a worthy role and position in that collective. If the sports sector is disregarded because it is not part of the "national economy and people's livelihood" according to a certain superficial concept, then inevitably sports reporters will not be respected, there will be no writers or pens of worthy caliber, and there will be disadvantages and losses not only for the newspaper but also for the majority of readers.

Do you remember the time when SLNA played brilliantly with many outstanding stars, especially Van Quyen, Cong Vinh..., many sports press agencies in particular and newspapers in general regularly assigned resident reporters to "stay undercover" in Vinh City, "live and breathe" events and images from SLNA to work and they "made a living" from news sources, articles, and images under "SLNA copyright". That continues to happen today and is a very specific lesson for managers, press leaders as well as journalists and sports reporters to know how to exploit the valuable "resource mine" right in front of them to serve readers and fans?

In society, there is no lowly profession and in every press agency, there is certainly no “field” that is unimportant or secondary. Therefore, if journalists and sports reporters are diligent, dedicated to their profession, and work hard with each page they write, regardless of whether they are male or female, they will always have a worthy place in the hearts of readers./.
