Dramatic developments came in the final hours of the summer transfer window as a series of notable deals were completed.

"Crazy" last minute transfer

This year’s summer market witnessed some dramatic and surprising final minutes. Some deals failed to close in time, but some were lucky enough to be signed just before the deadline.

One of the deals that received a lot of attention was MU's recruitment of Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. After many efforts, the "Red Devils" officially reached an agreement to borrow Amrabat with a clause to buy after 1 season.

Ten Hag welcomed Amrabat after finalizing the signing of Reguilon.

Fiorentina have agreed to a loan deal worth €10m, higher than the expected loan fee, and the Serie A side have given United the option to buy Amrabat outright for €20m, rising to €25m with add-ons.

This is a deal that has received great expectations from MU fans because coach Ten Hag has had a huge headache with the instability of the midfield.

Ryan Gravenberch is a signing that Klopp has been keen on since the beginning of the summer.

Looking at MU's "big rival" Liverpool, the Anfield team was also very quick to complete the deal named Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich for 34.2 million pounds. The 21-year-old midfielder signed a 5-year contract with coach Jurgen Klopp's team.

Another English team, Chelsea, has said goodbye to a star who grew up in the academy.Callum Hudson-Odoi. The midfielder born in 2000 will join Nottingham Forest and continue to compete in the Premier League. However, Odoi's chances of playing will be much greater.

Cancelo leaves Man City to join Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Premier League champions Man City have parted ways with Joao Cancelo, with the Portuguese defender joining Barcelona on loan. The contract does not include a buyout clause, but Cancelo has little future at the Etihad Stadium.

Another last-minute loan signing from Barca is Joao Felix. The Atletico Madrid star will join the Catalan club for one season.

Getafe "rescue" Mason Greenwood.

Another Spanish team, Getafe, surprisingly successfully recruited striker Mason Greenwood from MU. This is a meaningful deal for the English striker as this player has not played in the past year. However, Getafe's determination helped them get Greenwood's signature on a 1-season loan and MU pledged to continue supporting their partner by paying the entire salary of the 21-year-old striker.

Another notable name returning to the Premier League is striker Divock Origi. The Belgian striker has signed for Nottingham Forest on loan from AC Milan. The former Liverpool striker will have the opportunity to face his former team in the Premier League this season.

Origi returns to the Premier League with Nottingham.

In London, Arsenal have said goodbye to two stars in a row, with centre-back Rob Holding (joining Crystal Palace) and midfielder Sambi Lokonga (on loan to Luton Town). City rivals Tottenham have spent a whopping £47.5 million to bring in young striker Brennan Johnson from Nottingham.

In France, PSG reached an agreement to sign striker Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt for 90 million euros at the last minute of the summer transfer window. This is a necessary addition to the Ligue 1 champions' attack in the context of Messi - Neymar leaving one after another and Mbappe's future being questioned.
