The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received 3 complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections related to 5 candidates for the 14th National Assembly in the Central region.

On the morning of April 14, in Hanoi, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held the third consultative conference to elect deputies to the 14th National Assembly.

Reporting on the situation and results of the organization of collecting opinions and trust from voters at their workplaces and places of residence for candidates for the 14th National Assembly, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that as of April 13, 2016, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front had received 3 complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections related to 5 candidates for the 14th National Assembly in the Central. The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has reviewed and handled them in accordance with the provisions of law.

The third consultative conference to elect deputies to the 14th National Assembly

Specifically, 4 cases were sent to the National Election Council for settlement according to its authority and the petitioner was notified; 1 case was sent to the responsible agency for verification and the response was that the voter's reflection was unfounded and the case was resolved in accordance with the provisions of law.

Also at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the National Election Council said that to contribute to ensuring the implementation of the steps in the election takes place democratically, in accordance with the law, and on time as prescribed, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has organized 6 delegations to supervise the election work in 18 provinces and centrally-run cities.

Through supervision, in addition to grasping and evaluating the results achieved, directing localities on the work contents that need to be performed related to the role, rights and responsibilities of the Front in the election; the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has promptly synthesized, proposed and recommended to the National Election Council, relevant agencies and organizations at the central level on practical issues facing the locality. At the same time, it has paid attention and focused on coordinating the reception and handling of petitions, denunciations and cases raised by voters./.
