1.7 m tall, always weighing 47 kg, Van Anh's body is thin, lacks muscle and often faints due to weakness. The girl always wants to find a way to gain weight and improve her health. Invited by a friend, Van Anh researched, practiced and became passionate about the gym without realizing it. However, in the first two and a half years, due to lack of guidance, Van Anh practiced on her own so not much changed.

Van Anh guides muscle toning exercises

Van Anh recalls that five years ago, it was rare to see women going to the gym. The first few days of going to the gym in an all-male environment made her feel uncomfortable and quite shy. She didn't dare ask for advice when she practiced wrongly, so she practiced for a while without seeing any obvious changes.

Then the girl decided to consult the guys who were working out at the gym and was enthusiastically instructed by everyone. Van Anh shared that when working out, you should not be afraid to ask for advice from those who have gone before you. That is the way to hone the right training skills to quickly progress and avoid injuries due to incorrect training.

The young girl spends four sessions a week working out, each session lasting about 90 minutes. According to Van Anh, no matter what training program you follow, rest is very important for your muscles to recover and develop well.

At the beginning of her training, Van Anh gained three kilos thanks to active exercise and diet, even though she did not practice properly. After that, her body hardly changed. She researched and set up a reasonable training program for herself, alternating exercises to avoid boredom during training.

According to the young girl, warming up before exercising is very important to avoid cramps and injuries, but many people ignore it. Van Anh focuses on all exercises to develop muscle groups evenly. Many people think that lifting weights will make the muscles rough and ugly, or only focus on abdominal exercises to have a slim waist and ignore other muscle groups. According to the girl, if you want a toned and balanced body, you need to focus on eating and reducing fat all over the body instead of doing local exercises.

Currently, Van Anh is quite comfortable with her diet, not too abstinent but focusing on a balanced diet of food groups. Beef, chicken breast, fish, shrimp are eaten alternately to avoid boredom. The young girl prioritizes eating broccoli, carrots, beans, cabbage, legumes, nuts, apples and bananas...

Fried foods, too much oil, fast food, cakes, milk tea... are "flattering" foods but harmful to the skin and figure, so she limits their use. She pays special attention to breakfast, eating a small cup of oatmeal before going to the gym to have energy. After 10pm, she does not eat more because at this time the body needs to rest. The young girl supplements whey protein powder after exercising.

After five years of training, what makes the girl most satisfied is having a body full of vitality, no longer fainting or weak. From a tall, thin, weak girl, Van Anh has become healthy and confident.Her three-round measurements have also improved significantly, from 80-55-88 (cm) before to the current hot three-round measurements: 85-57-97 (cm). Her upcoming goal is to prepare good health and a toned body to participate in professional fitness competitions for women.

Van Anh was born in 1991 in Nam Dinh, was in the top 10 and won the Talented Contestant award in the Vietnam Fitness Model contest in 2017, and is currently a freelance fitness trainer.
