Girl who robbed many gold shops was caught because of nail polish color
From the image of the girl who stole the necklace and her nail polish color recorded by the gold shop's camera, Quang Ngai police were able to track down the suspect.

Police said that in mid-March, Yen and several women went to a gold shop in Cho Chua town, Nghia Hanh district, to buy gold. The 30-year-old woman wore a mask and asked to see the necklaces in the cabinet.
At that time, the shop owner was away, only her daughter was standing at the counter. While looking at the jewelry, Yen told the owner to take the cash register and quickly used her hands to push many gold necklaces into her jacket pocket.
Checked and found missing 6 9999 gold necklaces with a total value of 100 million VND, the shop owner reviewed the security camera and called the police.
From the thief's jacket, helmet, hair color, and red painted fingernails with patterns on the camera, investigators tracked down the suspect after a month of surveillance.

Invited by the police to question, Yen confessed that in addition to the gold shop in Nghia Hanh district, she and her friend stole two necklaces worth 20 million VND from a gold shop in Chau O town, Binh Son district.
"This group committed crimes in many places. Their method was to go in large numbers, pretend to ask to see the gold, distract the seller, and then quickly take possession of it," tLieutenant Colonel Le Thanh Son - Deputy Chief of Nghia Hanh District Police said.
Police are hunting Yen's accomplice.
