Graduated from Da Nang University of Education, majoring in physical education in 2013, teacher Mai Hoai Thuong taught at Nghia Binh Primary School as a physical education teacher and has been the team leader since then.

Since Ms. Thuong came to school, the Team activities at Nghia Binh Primary School have really flourished. In addition to her classes, Thuong devotes all her time to the Youth Union movement and local activities. The Youth Union of Hamlet 6, Tan Son, Ky Tan Commune, where Thuong is the Secretary, currently has 22 youth union members, mainly students. Every year, Thuong and the Commune Youth Union organize a football tournament to raise funds to help students in the village improve their studies; coordinate with organizations to organize a "full moon festival" for children and the Youth Union has given gifts to the children worth nearly 1 million VND on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In addition, Thuong also participated and won many prestigious prizes in sports, cultural and artistic tournaments in the district and the province. Almost every time Thuong participated in coaching for the commune, district or provincial team, she won a prize. In 2016, in the youth and children's football tournament of the Phu Dong Sports Association of Tan Ky district, Thuong was the only female coach of Tan Ky district, the children's football team of her commune won second prize.
