According to Ria Novosti, advisor to the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, in an interview with Ukraine's Channel 24, expressed doubts about Kiev's ability to resist Russia in the long term, especially when Russia continues to spend huge amounts of money on special military operations.

According to advisor Podolyak, the “success” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front depends on three aspects: the balance of resources between Russia and Ukraine, the number of weapons on both sides, and the time when these weapons can begin to be used on the battlefield.

To neutralize Russia's advantage, it is necessary to limit the amount of its resources, Mr. Podolyak said.

Meanwhile, Turkish political scientist Hakan Aksay said that the US and the EU will try in various ways to find a replacement for President Volodymyr Zelensky - who is ignoring Western proposals to sign a peace deal, causing an internal political crisis in Ukraine.

"While some political circles in the US and EU countries are tired of supporting Ukraine militarily and economically, they are increasingly distancing themselves from Kiev. Especially after the Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalated. The West may abandon President Zelensky if reconciliation is not possible," said the Turkish political scientist.

According to Mr. Aksay, President Zelensky's tough stance on continuing the conflict contradicts General Zaluzhny's statement about the impossibility of winning on the battlefield, as well as former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen's call for Kiev to give up territories in exchange for NATO membership.

In addition, according to the Turkish analyst, President Zelensky's situation is further aggravated by the lack of success in the summer counteroffensive, the challenges that Ukraine will face with the upcoming cold winter weather, and possible winter attacks from Russia.

"If the above factors lead to the Kiev government losing control of the situation, a political crisis will occur in Ukraine. And it will increase the possibility of Russia's victory" - Turkish political scientist Hakan Aksay commented./.
