Son calls police to 'accuse' his father of running red light
An American boy sneaked into a room and called 911 to report that his father had committed a traffic violation.
Last Saturday, 6-year-old Robert Richardson, who lives in Quincy, Massachusetts, USA, went to the car wash with his father Mike Richardson. Mike drove through a red light when there was no police officer present.
"I'll call 911," Robert said as soon as he saw his father breaking a traffic law. However, Mike didn't pay much attention at the time because he thought it was just his son's random remark.
As soon as he got home, Robert grabbed his phone, ran into his room and called 911.
"Dad took me to the car wash and he drove through a red light."The car is a new brand, this is my mother's car," Robert clearly told the operator.

The 911 dispatcher then asked the boy to pass the phone to his father. The boy even appeared to have no involvement in the situation, saying, "Someone called me" before handing over the phone.
After understanding the situation, Mr. Mike apologized to the police for his actions, he also confirmed that there was no emergency incident that occurred from his son's call.
Robert's mother, McDonald, said she taught her son to call 911 after watching a news report on TV.
"I saw a kid call 911 because his little sister was choking. So I told Robbie to call 911 in case anything urgent or out of the ordinary happened," she shared on CNN.
She said she was very proud when her son called 911.
Quincy City Police shared the story and the interesting call on their official Facebook page. They said the boy's actions were commendable and advised parents to set an example for their children.
