Police stopped a group of men and women carrying guns and weapons to resolve a conflict.

On the afternoon of May 20, Binh Phuoc Provincial Police informed that the Mobile Police Department of the Provincial Police had just discovered and dealt with a group of young men carrying many guns, ammunition and weapons to resolve a conflict.

According to the police, in the early morning of May 19, a patrol team of the Mobile Police Department was on duty in Dong Xoai City when they received information about a group of people driving a car carrying many dangerous weapons to resolve a conflict.

Immediately after that, the patrol team discovered a suspicious vehicle moving from the direction of Hung Vuong intersection to Truong Hai bus station (Tan Binh ward, Dong Xoai city) so they signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection. However, when seeing the police, the driver accelerated and fled.

At this time, the patrol team chased and approached, controlling the vehicle and 7 young men and women on board.

Through initial inspection, there was a black gun in the car under the driver's seat area.

The group of young men and the vehicle were then taken to Tan Binh ward police headquarters for questioning.

Here, the police discovered 2 rubber bullet pistols, 24 rubber bullets (1 loaded), 1 pen gun, a three-section metal stick, a sharp knife, a shovel, and a box of lead bullets.

Working with the authorities, the driver of the vehicle confessed that his name was Tran Nhat Tai (born in 1995, residing in Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province), the remaining group of men and women were Tai's friends. This subject also confessed that all the evidence on the vehicle was bought by himself, and was taking it to resolve a conflict with another group.

The police are currently detaining this subject for investigation.
