Police investigate case of 9th grade female student in Nghe An being beaten, stripped and filmed by a group of friends
(Baonghean.vn) - A group of 9th grade female students from different schools in Thanh Chuong district beat and stripped another female student and filmed the clip.
On the morning of September 30, Mr. Tran Xuan Ha - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Chuong district said that the police had summoned the female students involved in the case of beating and stripping a classmate and then filming the clip and posting it on social media.
"Initial verification shows that this group of students come from many different schools. Currently, the police are taking statements to serve the investigation, after which the schools will take action," said Mr. Ha.
In the nearly 3-minute clip that is circulating on social media, a group of about 3 female students repeatedly grabbed the hair and slapped a female student in the face. The group even stripped off the victim's shirt and beat her, then happily filmed the clip and threatened to post it on Facebook. Meanwhile, the beaten female student could only cry and beg "sisters, please forgive me"...
According to Mr. Tran Xuan Ha, the female student who was beaten in the clip is a 9th grade student at Thanh My Secondary School. The 3 female students who participated in beating their friend and filming the clip are from many different schools, including Phong Thinh Secondary School, Cat Van Secondary School and Thanh Tien Secondary School. The incident happened on September 27, on a deserted road leading to the acacia forest in Thanh Duc commune.
"Initial verification shows that there are 4 female 9th grade students involved in this fight. As far as we know, the conflict stemmed from an argument and challenge on social media. As for the specifics, we have to wait for the police to investigate and clarify," said Mr. Ha.
