Tight control on traffic safety
In addition to ensuring security and order, implementing the peak plan before, during and after the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the Traffic Police force has increased patrolling, controlling and handling traffic violations. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Police) said: After Tet, when people return to work, go to festivals, go sightseeing, ... the demand for travel, especially by passenger car, increases.

From that reality, with the goal of reducing traffic accidents in general, accidents involving passenger cars in particular, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Public Security has asked bus operators to sign a commitment to strictly comply with the provisions of the law. The Department also directed teams and stations to coordinate with local police to continue to inspect and strictly handle violations such as carrying more passengers than the prescribed number, speeding violations, etc.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong, in the coming time, the authorities will continue to strengthen the control of violations, especially alcohol concentration. The teams and stations will coordinate with local police to actively propagate and deploy inspections and handling on traffic routes, especially at noon, evening, holidays, and festivals.
