Nghe An Police honor 22 outstanding women on March 8
(Baonghean.vn) - 22 outstanding female police officers of Nghe An, outstanding union officials and outstanding female police officers at the grassroots level, representing more than 1,300 female officers and members of Nghe An Police were commended and honored by Nghe An Police for their outstanding achievements in 2023.
On the afternoon of March 5, the Women's Committee of Nghe An Provincial Police held a meeting and honored "Outstanding Nghe An Women Police", "Outstanding Association Officers" and "Outstanding Grassroots Female Police" in 2023.
Attending the meeting were Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police; Deputy Directors of the Provincial Police. Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Women's Union, representatives of the Party Committee, and leaders of the Provincial Police Departments.
Over the years, the women of the Provincial Police have effectively carried out the work of the association and women's movement, gender equality work, for the advancement of women, family and children work. At the same time, the study and implementation of Uncle Ho's Six Teachings of the People's Public Security Forces have been linked to political tasks, campaigns and emulation movements with the common goal of building the People's Public Security Forces, training the political qualities, moral qualities, capacity, will and personality of female police officers, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. Both dedicated to work and devoted to volunteer activities, social security, the image of Nghe An women police present, giving love in border areas, remote mountainous areas, and families with meritorious services on all roads has become familiar, leaving a special mark in the hearts of the people and the Party Committee and government.
In recognition of its achievements and results, the Nghe An Police Women's Committee was honored to receive 8 Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial People's Committee, the Ministry of Public Security's Women's Committee, and the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union. Many collectives and individuals were commended by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Provincial Police; many members won high prizes in competitions organized by superiors.
At the ceremony, the provincial police leaders honored 22 typical individuals as "Outstanding Nghe An Police Women", "Outstanding Association Officials" and "Outstanding Grassroots Police Women" in 2023.
Recognizing the efforts and achievements of Nghe An Police women in recent times, Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Director of the Provincial Police Department requested that in the coming time, Nghe An Police women continue to join forces, unite, have more good ways of doing things, innovate and be creative in all aspects of work.
In addition, police leaders of units and localities continue to pay attention to women's movement work; create conditions for women to contribute and affirm their position and role; have a roadmap to build female cadres to become advanced models in the emulation movement and become "nuclei" with enough talent and virtue to be promoted and appointed to key leadership and command positions in units.
