Nghe An police hand over new ID cards to the first citizens

After 4 days of receiving ID documents and ID certificates, on July 5, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, the Provincial Police and the Police of 21 districts, cities and towns held a ceremony to hand over new ID cards to the first citizens to make ID cards.

From July 1 to now, immediately after the launching ceremony to implement the 2023 Law on Identification and the organization of receiving applications for ID cards and ID certificates, the One-Stop Department of Nghe An Provincial Police and the One-Stop Department of Police of 21 districts, cities and towns simultaneously carried out the collection of applications for ID cards and ID certificates.

After 4 days of implementation, the whole province has collected 5,398 ID card applications, including 70 ID card applications for citizens aged 0-6; 258 ID card applications for citizens aged 6-14; 5,070 ID card applications for citizens over 14 years old. Up to now, the first citizens in the province have been issued ID cards by the Ministry of Public Security.

To implement the 2023 Law on Identification, in the coming time, Nghe An Provincial Police will continue to promote propaganda, mobilization, and guidance on forms, procedures, and processes for receiving applications for new identification cards for 100% of citizens of all ages.
