In recent times, closely following the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Provincial Police and the Youth Union of Nghe An province have closely coordinated, creating consensus and unity in effectively implementing activities to serve the work of ensuring security and order in the whole province.

At the same time, it has coordinated well the implementation of the Project to build the National Population Database, the Project to produce, issue and manage Citizen Identification Cards and the Government's Project 06. Promote the effectiveness of the activities of the Propaganda and Guidance Teams at the grassroots level, in which the Police force and the Youth Union are the core forces, thereby contributing to creating positive changes in the implementation results of the 2 projects and Project 06 in the province, especially in the work of propaganda and guidance on the installation of VNeID electronic identification and online public services (to date, the whole province has issued more than 1.5 million accounts; the rate of receiving online records in the whole province has reached an average level of nearly 50%, among the top in the country).

In addition, the two sides have coordinated to implement many very practical and meaningful social security campaigns, programs and activities, such as: "Warm Winter - Volunteer Spring"; "Summer Youth Volunteer" Campaign... Joining the front line to support and help people overcome difficulties in 2 years of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

In particular, the Youth Union has coordinated with the Police force and other components to contribute to building houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties (to date, nearly 1,800/2,820 houses have been built with support from the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An Provincial Police).

The Police and Youth Union at all levels have coordinated to organize more than 3,000 seminars and club activities, with contents related to crime prevention and social evils. Organized more than 3,800 talks and meetings with people in blocks, hamlets, villages, and hamlets, especially in special areas to propagate the law and criminal tricks so that people can proactively prevent, detect, and fight.

In addition, the Youth Union has coordinated with the Police at all levels in more than 5,000 night patrols, more than 500 campaigns to launch the "All people protect national security" movement with the participation of 15,000 union members and young people. In particular, it has mobilized more than 300 households to abandon the intention of migrating to Laos; successfully coordinated and reconciled more than 400 conflicts among the people. In addition, it has provided the Police force with valuable information, helping the force resolve more than 780 cases of violations of social order, 800 cases of drugs, etc.

It can be affirmed that the Police force and the Youth Union are always the pioneering, shock force, taking the lead in performing all tasks, making an important contribution to ensuring social order and safety, effectively serving the socio-economic development of the province.

Entering the current period, especially from 2023 to 2025, there will be many important tasks that the Government, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee will resolutely direct and implement, including 3 main tasks related to the functions and tasks of the Police force and the Youth Union. Therefore, in order to improve the effectiveness of operations between the two forces, the Provincial Police and the Provincial Youth Union have developed a Coordination Plan.

At the Signing Ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Police Department and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union affirmed that the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two sides aims to continue promoting the spirit and responsibility of young people in the task of protecting political security, maintaining social order and safety, and building the movement "All people protect national security", contributing to building a solid people's security posture.

At the same time, improve the effectiveness of propaganda and legal education for union members, youth, teenagers and students; promote the spirit of mutual love, solidarity, the pioneering and volunteering role of young people in social security activities in localities.

In particular, coordination is an important premise for effectively implementing the Government's Project on "Developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation, period 2022 - 2025, vision to 2030" called Project 06.

In which, the process of coordinating and directing the implementation is synchronous and unified from the provincial level to the grassroots level; the organizational form is suitable for each locality and unit; ensuring information security requirements according to regulations.
