Hoang Mai town police support a family cycling from Nam Dinh to Kon Tum

Around 8:40 a.m. on September 11, at the quarantine checkpointCovid-19On National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Thien Ward (Hoang Mai Town), the working group of Hoang Mai Town Police and other departments and agencies were performing the task of controlling the Covid-19 epidemic when they discovered Mr. Tran Thien Tung (born in 1995), from Loc Vuong, Nam Dinh City, and his wife Y Thuan (born in 1999), from Dak To Re, Kon Ray (Kon Tum), carrying their 6-year-old child and personal belongings, riding a bicycle on a journey from Nam Dinh to Kon Tum.

Through investigation, the working group learned that both husband and wife had a house in Kon Tum but worked for hire in Nam Dinh, but due to the Covid-19 epidemic, they lost their jobs for many months. Therefore, the couple decided to return to their home.
The family's journey has lasted for 4 days but the way home is still very far and there are many difficulties ahead.

Knowing the circumstances of Mr. Tran Thien Tung and Ms. Y Thuan's family, the working group supported the family with travel expenses, free rapid testing, and at the same time contacted a passenger car (running a contract to transport essential goods) to help the family return home.
It is expected that at around 2-3am on September 12, the above-mentioned car will take Mr. Tran Thien Tung's family back to Kon Tum city to hand over to the local epidemic prevention and control checkpoint to carry out Covid-19 testing procedures before returning home./.
