Vinh City Police received the emulation flag from the government

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 5, Vinh City Police held a ceremony to receive the emulation flag from the government and summarize the peak period of crime suppression during the Lunar New Year 2016. Authorized by the Prime Minister - Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police Department awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to the Vinh City Police Department.

In 2015, Vinh City Police successfully completed all tasks, fighting and arresting 776 cases, 833 subjects of criminal, drug, economic and environmental crimes. Eliminated 4 gangs, 25 dangerous criminal subjects, 4 inter-provincial drug trafficking lines.

During the peak period of the crackdown on crime during the Lunar New Year of Binh Than 2016, the city police investigated and clarified 35 cases, arrested 35 subjects, broke 5 special cases, seized money and assets worth nearly 700 million VND. Arrested 41 cases, 43 subjects for illegal drug trafficking, seized 1.752 grams of heroin, 185.11 grams of crystal meth, 668 grams of marijuana. Seized more than 2,400 kg of animal products of unknown origin, 2,000 sports bullets, 720 bottles of smuggled foreign wine. Discovered and handled 65 cases of production, trading and burning of firecrackers during the New Year. Seized 300 kg of firecrackers, 7.59 kg of firecracker powder.

From the above results, the Vinh City Police Department was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Government for its excellent performance in 2015. The Ministry of Public Security, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Vinh City People's Committee commended many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the fight against all types of crimes to ensure security and order in the area.
