Announcement of results of the competency assessment exam before May 30
On the afternoon of May 15, the leaders of Hanoi National University announced that after the first round of the competency assessment exam, 7 candidates were suspended from taking the exam. The school will announce the results before May 30.
According to statistics from Hanoi National University, the first round of the competency assessment exam had 66,754 candidates participating. Of which, the number of candidates taking the Foreign Language exam was 15,443 out of 15,842 registered candidates (97.4%). 51,311 students (out of a total of 52,850 registered candidates) took the competency assessment exam (97.1%).
As of 3:00 p.m. on May 15, 7 candidates were suspended for bringing cell phones into the exam room, 13 candidates took the competency assessment test, and 7 candidates taking the Foreign Language test were warned for intentionally not following the correct exam procedure.
According to initial statistics, one candidate achieved the maximum score of 80/80 in the Foreign Language test and one candidate achieved 124/140 points in the Competency Assessment test.

Leaders of Hanoi National University said that the school will announce the results before May 30. Candidates use their ID cards or citizen identification cards to look up the exam results on the school's website and the Testing Center - Hanoi National University.
Certificates of exam results will be sent to first round candidates before June 6, 2016.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice President of Hanoi National University, the school does not publish the exam questions and does not organize re-examinations of the Competency Assessment and Foreign Language exams. The exam results are valid for 24 months. The Foreign Language exam results are only valid in the year of the exam for admission to the University of Foreign Languages, under Hanoi National University, or training programs of the school's units.
According to Mr. Son, this year, the school has agreed to use one admission software for all training units participating in regular university admissions.
Candidates register for admission online via the electronic information portal on the school's website and pay the fee (VND 30,000/application) into the training unit's account via the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
Candidates can only apply for admission to one training unit of Hanoi National University, maximum two majors in order of priority (first choice and second choice).
The first round of admission registration takes place from June 13 to June 24. The school will announce the admission results on the website before June 30 for candidates taking the first round of exams.
