Announcement of test results of seafood samples in the Central provinces
Sampling was conducted from April 28 to May 6 on nearly 140 samples of fresh seafood, drinking water and vegetables.
The Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) has just announced the results of testing seafood samples in areas with unusual fish deaths in the Central provinces.

The test results showed that all 97 fresh seafood samples met the safety index and the vegetable and water samples were also within the allowable limit. The Food Safety Department in coordination with the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control sent teams to directly collect and test these samples. The fresh seafood samples were tested, most of which were products caught offshore.
Previously, the Ministry of Health established 4 working groups in 4 provinces: Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue to monitor the use of food in the area, especially seafood, to prevent the use and trading of seafood that died abnormally and without clear cause./.
