Announcement of Decision on transfer and appointment of Director of Nghe An Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center

On the afternoon of October 6, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Nghe An province held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on personnel work.

Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Bui Thanh An - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Agencies.

Also attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Hong Quang - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Doan Hong Vu - Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Vi Hoe - Secretary of the Ky Son District Party Committee; and representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, districts, cities and towns in the province.

Decision No. 3116/QD-UBND dated September 19, 2023 of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on the temporary appointment (5 years) of Comrade Nguyen Huu Minh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Ky Son District People's Committee to hold the position of Director of Nghe An Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center from October 2, 2023.

Speaking at the assignment of tasks to the new Director of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An congratulated comrade Nguyen Huu Minh for successfully completing the assigned tasks in the past time.

Affirming that the new position is both an honor and a great responsibility, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Huu Minh will continue to promote his capacity and strengths, be dedicated and responsible in his work, strive, improve his mettle and intelligence, and together with the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, unite, assign and delegate tasks, continue to create breakthroughs in advisory work, help the provincial leaders improve the investment and business environment index, attract large projects and key projects, create momentum for the province, and contribute to the local socio-economic development.

Emphasizing 5 tasks that need to be focused on and paid attention to in the coming time, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An requested the new Director of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and the unit to focus on innovating investment promotion methods in a professional manner. Investment promotion work needs to be associated with the spirit of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

Ensure diversified forms of investment promotion; improve quality and efficiency, avoid spreading forms; selectively attract investment with goals and requirements in the new situation.

At the same time, promote trade investment, focus on local products, agricultural products; promote and advertise, accompany businesses to bring OCOP products to good consumption through the application of information technology, introduce on e-commerce sites; build display and sales points of OCOP products, ...

In addition, it is necessary to innovate and create breakthroughs in tourism promotion and advertising; accompany businesses and investors in production and business activities. Determining the task of supporting businesses and investors, synthesizing reports to the Provincial People's Committee for direction to promptly resolve recommendations, difficulties and problems for businesses is a key, continuous and long-term task.

It is necessary to link the activities of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center with its own activities, with functional departments, branches, associations, provinces, cities, etc. to connect and promote investment, trade and tourism, etc., making Nghe An a reliable destination for the business community and investors inside and outside the province.

Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, the new Director of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, Nguyen Huu Minh, accepted and understood the assignment from Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Bui Thanh An. He promised to make efforts to quickly approach the new job and complete the task well.

He also expressed his wish to always receive the attention and direction of the provincial leaders, agencies, units and localities to continue to coordinate better with the unit; officers and staff of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, to accompany the collective to excellently complete the task.
