At the ceremony, on behalf of the Politburo, comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the Politburo's decision approving comrade Ho Van Nien, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Gia Lai province to hold the position of Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term 2015 - 2020.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Minh Chinh congratulated comrade Ho Van Nien and believed that in his new position as Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, with his intellectual capacity, steadfast political will and the wholehearted support of the Party Committee, government and people of Gia Lai province, he will successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

At the same time, the Head of the Central Organizing Committee also suggested that in the coming time, Gia Lai province needs to focus on leading and directing the implementation of the following key tasks: Strengthening and maintaining solidarity and unity in the entire Party, creating a spreading effect in society and among the people.

Conduct a summary of the grassroots congresses, prepare well for the successful organization of the 16th Provincial Party Congress (term 2020 - 2025), especially proactively develop a plan to organize the Provincial Party Congress on schedule in the context of the complicated and unpredictable developments of the COVID-19 pandemic. The process of preparing for personnel work must be truly impartial, transparent, democratic, objective, all for the common good; absolutely do not let the situation of following the procedures and regulations but not the right person for the right job.

Continue to identify and position Gia Lai in national and international relations to have strategies, plans, and develop in the right direction, effectively exploiting the province's unique potential, outstanding opportunities, and competitive advantages. Maintain, consolidate, and develop traditional friendships, especially with provinces in the Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam Development Triangle area...

In his acceptance speech, comrade Ho Van Nien respectfully expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Organizing Committee and the specialized agencies advising and assisting the Central Committee for their attention and trust in assigning him the task of being Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.

In his new position, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary promised to do his best, constantly improve his political capacity, maintain moral qualities, a pure and exemplary lifestyle, learn and absorb good experiences from previous generations of leaders, and work together with the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, overcome all difficulties and challenges to develop Gia Lai province and successfully carry out local political tasks.

It is known that comrade Ho Van Nien was born in 1975, from Gia Lai. Qualifications: Bachelor of Politics, Bachelor of Law. He has held the positions of Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Gia Lai province, Secretary of the Dak Po District Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee. At the 12th National Party Congress, he was elected as an alternate member of the Party Central Committee. At the 14th National Assembly election, he was elected as a National Assembly delegate in Gia Lai, and then elected as Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Gia Lai province.
