Nghe An Education Trade Union gives gifts to support people in flood-hit Ky Son area
(Baonghean.vn) - This is a practical activity to help teachers and students in the flooded area of Ky Son stabilize their lives and continue teaching and learning activities.
Implementing the Open Letter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province calling for support for people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, sharing the loss of life and property caused by floods in Ky Son district, on the afternoon of October 5, the Nghe An Education Trade Union organized a working delegation to Ky Son district to present gifts to support people to overcome the consequences of the historic flood on October 2.

The delegation donated textbooks, notebooks, and school supplies worth a total of 200 million VND to help flood-affected students in Ky Son district compensate for damage and loss and avoid interruption in their studies.
The delegation also presented 10 gifts to support teachers whose houses were swept away or completely collapsed, each worth 5 million VND; and 10 gifts to support teachers whose houses were partially damaged or lost property, each worth 3 million VND.
In addition, the delegation also donated 30 million VND to Ky Son High School to help teachers and students affected by the recent flood.

The gift giving fund was donated and supported by the Vietnam Education Trade Union, a number of individuals, philanthropists, officials and employees of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, and the School Books and Equipment Company.
