Matrix Vinh workers agree to return to work

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 6, the Board of Directors of Matrix Vinh Company Limited continued to coordinate with relevant agencies to organize a dialogue with workers. At this dialogue session, there were also representatives of Matrix Vietnam Company Limited.

At the dialogue, representatives of Matrix Vietnam Co., Ltd. responded to 13 requests of workers raised in previous dialogues. In particular, regarding the biggest problem of the standards, representatives of Matrix Vietnam Co., Ltd. affirmed: The company will reduce the standards of most stages from 7% - 9%, with a special reduction of up to 26.7%, while keeping the bonus unchanged, at least in the last months of 2016.

A representative of Matrix Vietnam Co., Ltd. also said that such a reduction is the final limit the Company can meet the workers' requests.

After the dialogue ended, most of the workers agreed to return to work the next morning. However, some workers remained to continue protesting.

Some workers said: After nearly 4 days of strike, they are very tired and with the Company's commitments, they want to return to work soon.

However, some people reported that they were threatened by other workers and people outside the company and still had to take time off work.
