MU really wants Maguire but because the price is too high, the Red Devils' leadership decided not to spend money to sign him at all costs. |
Centre-back Harry Maguire (Leicester City) and young star Sean Longstaff of Newcastle United are considered the next targets that MU wants to bring to Old Trafford.
However, the Red Devils' negotiations with both of the above cases are on hold, due to the sky-high prices demanded by the clubs that own Maguire and Longstaff.
The latest news from the Standard newspaper said that MU refused to meet Leicester City's demand, asking for 90 million pounds for Maguire. The price that the Red Devils can pay for the Foxes is at the (already very high) number of 75 million pounds.
Similar to young star Sean Longstaff, MU leaders also decided not to spend 50 million pounds as Newcastle wanted.
MU's opponents tonight include kids with runny noses.
It is likely that the head coach of Perth Glory Club will send his two teenage sons onto the field in this afternoon's friendly match with Man United.
