Cong Phuong ready to start in King's Cup final
Striker Cong Phuong is completely healthy and ready to start in the match between Vietnam and Curacao in the final of King's Cup 2019.
Coach Park Hang Seo sent Cong Phuong off the bench in Vietnam's 1-0 victory over Thailand in the opening match of the 2019 King's Cup. In a quick attack at the end of the match, CP10 was tackled dangerously by the opponent.
Specifically, the striker from Nghe An was kicked straight into the groin by defender Pansa wearing the number 6 shirt on the Thai side. The Vietnamese players reacted very strongly after the foul by the Thai home player on his teammate. Meanwhile, Cong Phuong lay on the field in pain.

Many people were worried about Cong Phuong's health after the match. However, with what he showed on the field during the training session on the afternoon of June 6, the HAGL Club striker showed that he was completely healthy.
Cong Phuong was one of the first players to enter the training ground. He was part of the reserve team in the match against Thailand. The Vietnamese striker practiced very hard, "absorbed" the training plan given by Coach Park.

In the match against Thailand, after being put on the field, Cong Phuong helped the Vietnamese team play much better. With his strengths in technique and speed, Cong Phuong is the right choice when the Vietnamese team faces a tall team like Curacao, in the King's Cup final taking place at 7:45 p.m. on June 8.
