Mass mobilization work needs to closely follow reality.

This is an activity to inspect and evaluate the results of 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW dated March 6, 2013 of the Central Committee (11th tenure) on strengthening and innovating the Party's leadership over mass mobilization work in the new situation.

Also attending the meeting was comrade Hoang Thi Ai Nhien - Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades representing the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command, Public Security, Provincial Border Guard Command and a number of related units.

According to the report on the results of 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW on strengthening and innovating the Party's leadership over mass mobilization work in the new situation in Nghe An, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has issued many policies, resolutions and projects to strengthen, improve and promote the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, contributing to improving social life.

Resolution No. 25 has been disseminated and seriously implemented by Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in accordance with the direction plan of the Central Government and the province. All levels and sectors have developed action programs; concretized the Resolution with directive documents and guidelines, mechanisms and policies for implementation.

During the implementation process, all levels focused on the task of strengthening Party building in terms of politics, ideology and cadre organization; promptly and effectively resolving people's legitimate concerns and aspirations, making people trust in the Party's leadership.

The mass mobilization work of state agencies has received more attention and innovation, through many specific actions, focusing on promoting administrative procedure reform, doing a good job of receiving people, resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens; educating cadres, civil servants and public employees to strictly implement public ethics, raise their sense of responsibility to serve the people; amending working methods towards democracy and transparency, fighting against bureaucracy, authoritarianism, corruption and waste. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have focused on innovating the content and methods of operation; focusing on the grassroots.

After 5 years of implementation, Resolution No. 25 of the Party Central Committee has achieved positive results, contributing to promoting socio-economic development; strengthening and consolidating the great national unity bloc.

Speaking at the meeting, delegates shared their experiences in mass mobilization work and proposed a number of recommendations and solutions to promote mass mobilization work.

Delegates of the Central working delegation highly appreciated the results of mass mobilization work that Nghe An province has achieved after 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 25; at the same time, they requested Nghe An province to continue to innovate so that mass mobilization work becomes more substantial; avoiding administrativeization of mass mobilization activities.

Receiving the opinions of the Central Inspection Delegation, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the results of mass mobilization work in Nghe An in the past time have had consensus and unanimity between the Party and the people. Resolution No. 25 has contributed to raising awareness among the people.

Based on the direction of the Central and the Standing Provincial Party Committee, agencies, departments and branches have also widely deployed mass mobilization activities. Thanks to that, political stability has been ensured and people's trust in the Party and the State has been created.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also admitted that there have been signs of administrativeization in mass mobilization work for a long time; propaganda activities and mass mobilization work have not been linked; some issues at the grassroots level have been slow to be resolved; and there are still limitations in the arrangement, use, and improvement of the quality of cadres doing mass mobilization work.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Lam - Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization acknowledged the achievements of Nghe An. In addition, he also requested the province to focus on the work of mass mobilization of the government, and handle petitions and receive people well.

Comrade Nguyen Lam emphasized: "With many solutions and methods, Nghe An needs to make mass mobilization work closely follow reality, pay attention to people's lives, thereby limiting hot spots and arising incidents; continue to promote the "skillful mass mobilization" movement in the whole province".
