Information fromSong Con Sugarcane Joint Stock Companysaid that this year's crushing season, the unit started purchasing raw sugarcane and started production from December 10, 2020. Accordingly, this year the company purchased sugarcane from farmers at the price of 830,000 VND/ton, 50,000 VND/ton higher than last year (the previous crushing season was 780,000 VND/ton). In addition, in the first 10 days, the company has a policy of purchasing sugarcane from farmers at the price of 850,000 VND/ton.

To help people more conveniently in the processsugarcane harvestThis year, the company brought in 3 combined harvesters; at the same time, it used 30 machines for land preparation, planting and care to serve people planting new sugarcane.

This pressing season, the company's raw sugarcane area is 5,500 hectares, in 5 districts: Tan Ky, Yen Thanh, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong and Do Luong; sugarcane output is estimated at about 350,000 tons.

The new point of Song Con Sugarcane Joint Stock Company this year will continue to implement a number of models of planting new sugarcane varieties: LK92-11, KK3. These are sugarcane varieties imported from Thailand, the company has tested planting on Tan Ky land, the yield reached 140 tons/ha.
